Distribution Services announced the following job position: 2nd Shift Full Time Class A CDL Driver: The company is looking for an honest, dependable, person willing and able to work between the hours of 6 PM & 6AM, Monday through Friday. This position requires 6 to 10 hours on the road, 5 days a week (no Saturday or Sunday), within a 250 mile radius of the Duncansville, PA warehouse location. No sleepovers are neccessary! The typical work week will be 40 hours. Overtime, if necessary (not usually), will be compensated at the rate of 1.5 x the normal hourly wage, after working 40 hours per week. In addition to this, you will receive full Individual/Family Health Insurance Coverage, (after completing 90 days of service), one week paid vacation, (after one full year of service), plus 6 paid holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth Of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day. Techno-Link Corp is a drug & tobacco free company. You will be periodically tested for compliance to this policy. You must have a minimum of three years over the road driving experience. A basic knowledge of the mechanics of tractors and trailers would also be helpful. You should also be intimately familiar with the laws and regulations for safe driving as proposed by the PA Department of Motor Vehicles. You should also be willing to present the most recent copy of your motor vehicle registration record when required. You will not, necessarily be required to touch the loads you carry, but you should be willing and able to help unload if you are asked to help. You will be held responsible for the condition, both inside and out, of the trucks and trailers you are moving. This includes periodically sweeping out trailers and cleaning out your tractor.
