announced that their new rail reload facility, proposed for Blair County, was considered operational as of August 1, 2002.  The rail reload facility is located in Tyrone, PA behind the former Tyrone-Westvaco plant and will be serviced by the Bald Eagle Nittany Railroad.

The reload facility allows local businesses within a 100 mile radius of Blair County the option and the economy of receiving products by rail right here in Central PA.

The facility is expected to handle commodities like fertilizers, feeds, lumber and other similar items.
